This 2-Day program meets the criteria for 12 credit hours of Category 1 continuing education for social workers and associates licensed in Maryland. A single day program meets the criteria for 6 credit hours of Category 1 continuing education.

ABOUT THE TRAINING:

Schedule:
8:00AM to 8:30AM Registration/Light Continental Breakfast
8:30AM to 12:00PM Morning Session
12:00PM to 1:30PM Lunch (on your own)
1:30PM to 4:45PM Afternoon Session

DAY ONE will focus on an introduction to Energy Psychology including the development of energy work and ‘energy psychology’ and practical application using specific protocols for issues such as anxiety, depression, acute stress disorder and PTSD.

The MORNING will focus on:

  • Compact history of the origin of energy psychology
  • Comparison of energy psychology techniques to CBT, EMDR and Hypnosis
  • Discussion of manual muscle testing: development & practical application
  • Demonstration and practical application of Dr. Fred Gallo’s Energy Diagnostic and Treatment Methods (EDxTM)
  • Brief description of Psychological Reversal and Neurological Disorganization (switching) including impact on treatment and how to quickly address them.

In the AFTERNOON:

  • Introduction to therapeutic-grade essential oils and how these oils add to Energy Psychology protocols.
  • Review and practical application of specific Energy Psychology protocols for anxiety, depression, acute stress disorder and PTSD.
  • Experiential opportunities in relation to various client/patient diagnostic/treatment issues.

DAY TWO will focus on integrating Energy Psychology and therapeutic-grade essential oils into conventional therapy with challenging clients/patients.

The MORNING will include:

  • A brief review of the origin of energy psychology, manual muscle testing, Energy Diagnostic and Treatment Methods (EDxTM), and therapeutic-grade essential oils.
  • A review and further elaboration of Psychological Reversal and Neurological Disorganization (switching) including impact on treatment and how to quickly address them.
  • Focus on advanced Energy Psychology Protocols that includes experiential opportunities.

The AFTERNOON:

  • Treatment of Youth Disorders: sexual assault, OCD, GAD, cutting & addictions.
  • Treatment of Adults suffering with: anxiety disorders, emotional after-effects resulting from single-incident or multiple trauma, and depression.

ABOUT THE PRESENTER:
Arlene Anisman, B.A., M.Ed., CCA

Arlene Anisman has more than 30 years experience as a practicing psychotherapist in Ontario, Canada. She is a clinical member of OSP (Ontario Society of Psychotherapists), Certified Level 2 Trainer & Practitioner of EDxTM (Energy Diagnostic & Treatment Methods), and a Certified Clinical Aromatherapist with 500 plus training hours in the practice of using essential oils. Arlene also has extensive training in advanced Emotional Freedom Technique, Clinical Hypnosis and Thought Field Therapy. Her specialties include alcohol and drug abuse, sexual assault, eating problems & disorders, self-esteem, family of origin work, conflict resolution/mediation, anxiety/depression and separation issues within the context of short- or long-term therapy.

With written notification up to fourteen (14) days prior to the workshop, a full refund will be made, minus a $50 processing fee.

For cancellation less than fourteen (14) days prior to the workshop, or a lack of attendance, no refund will be made.
